Experiencing different cultures has always been something I love.
This time, I had the opportunity to work with L’OFFICIEL Vietnam to capture a vibrant Indian wedding at JW Marriott Phu Quoc.
It was my first time photographing an Indian wedding, and I was both excited and overwhelmed.
As always, before stepping into a new culture, I spent time researching the traditions and religious practices so I could truly understand what I was about to document.
Even with a timeline in hand, nothing could fully prepare me for the experience: multi-day celebrations, countless vibrant rituals like Mehndi (henna painting for the bride and her family), the lively Baraat procession where young and old danced for hours, and the sacred wedding ceremony under the Mandap.
Everything was meticulous, grand, and full of life.
It was one of the most exhilarating experiences I have had—capturing moments bursting with color, energy, and joy.
